Thanks for sharing YOUR Stories 🙂

Hello Game of Wealth Champion! I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your stories on how you're moving forward towards financial freedom. I've been inspired by your stories so I've compiled them all into this page to hopefully inspire you as well. Enjoy reading 🙂

Dr. Debt to Dr. Independence!

Good day Mr. J3! An Advanced happy birthday to you!

I love your game of wealth videos (actually ALL of your videos and write ups) since they make financial education very concrete, practical and down right do-able. They are so basic that it is easy to share your concepts and ideas to our nurses here in the hospital and even to my helpers at home. I even find myself quoting you at times!

Your ideas on finances and especially your game of wealth videos are definitely a great blessing to all of us.

Btw, I'm also currently subscribed to the Truly Rich Club and I have noticed that being subscribed to both TRC and to the game of wealth has a synergistic effect on my finances.

I now have almost 300k equity investments (after 1 year) and 100k equity ITF for my daughter (after 6 mos). How's that for a person who was once in the quicksand (debt) stage last 2010?!

Again, a B.I.G THANK YOU to you. God bless you and your family always!!

Millionaire at Age 25

Hi J3, I'm a certified public accountant and a registered financial planner. I am presently working as a municipal accountant and a part-time college instructor. I was not born rich. I took my elementary and high school educations in public schools and was able to obtain my college diploma with the help of a scholarship program.

After graduation, I took the CPA board examination and started to practice my profession. In my first two years of working, I did not make so much financial progress. My bank account very seldom reached Php 20,000.00 despite my hard work. I was not worrying about it since my fellow workers (of the same age and profession) were financially doing the same.

After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, I was deeply worried. I realized that I was financially stupid in spite of my profession. I knew have to be an investor at the very least if I don't want to end up being in a rat race. That really scared me.

I wasted no time. I read books about personal finance, businesses and investments. I knew I had to learn things that we should have learned during college.

Luckily, I was working in an auditing firm which happened to have an engagement with Capital Markets Integrity Corporation. We got exposed to the stock market! I got a chance to invest in the stock market. I grabbed the opportunity. I invested in the stock market to learn faster. As expected, I made a huge mistake in my first investment. I invested in an IPO, expecting the stock price to go up, but the stock price fell sharply and I was, after a couple of months, forced to sell my stocks at a loss.

I cannot forget that experience. I lost my money but I gained a lot of knowledge.

Since then, I kept on attending seminars/webinars, reading books and investing in the stock market (now with proper guidance).

Fast forward to the present, I am still learning more about business and investments. However, unlike before, I have now a good-size emergency fund. My investment in the stock market is now valued at more than P1,000,000. But much much more importantly, I am investing with the right strategy in lined with my objectives, unlike before. Finally, I want to say that I am now very happy with my investments and little businesses, confident that I will achieve my bigger dreams!

To spread financial literacy, I incorporate personal finance to my lessons. I encourage my students to learn business and investments. So good, they are very responsive.

That's my short story. I hope you liked it. Thank you very much for being one of my mentors. I learned so much and I keep on learning from you.

As of to date, meron na po akong Cleared Balance na nasa SAR235,483.85 (equivalent to PHP2,928,510.00).

More power and best regards.

Engineering life to freedom!

Hi J3, Advance Happy Birthday!

I'm currently working as Software Engineer here in Riyadh, KSA. I just want to thank you for opening my mind on how to invest in the stock market and how you changed my mindset about money in a good way.

Three years ago, I have no emergency fund, investment or even money in my bank account. I have no idea about investing in the stock market. I have a good salary back then in the Philippines but still its not enough to support my family. So I decided to accept the job here in Saudi Arabia. While browsing the internet, I saw your videos online and bought your Game Of Wealth training, and that started my way to financial freedom.

As of now, I'm building my retirement funds and educational fund for my 3 daughters by investing monthly in the stock market and UITF.

Again, thank you for spreading financial literacy to all Filipinos all over the world..

Family Bonding Finance!

Hi J3, first I want to greet you a happy birthday in advance!

I know I already told you this before that I look up to you as a mentor. Whatever knowledge I have now about financial literacy and investing it all started with all the videos from you. With the learning I got from you my perspective or outlook in life also change.

Since 2013 that you influence my life I continued to educate myself by attending seminars (COL, Sunlife, CFA Phil, FQ mom, Caylum, etc) and reading books (Marvin Germo, Randel Tiongson, Efren Cruz, etc) as well as watching ANC on the money regularly.

Apart from learning financial literacy and investing I also developed discipline and patience. And above all just like you it's turning to be a passion. I have this desire of sharing with others what I've learned and hoping that they also take the path where I am now. I already influenced at least seven friends to invest in either stocks or mutual funds.

It also became a family bonding as I bring along my wife and two daughters (age 16 & 9) on seminars like the one that FQ mom did last May in SM Aura. At a young age I'm teaching my kids the value of saving. All of us in the family are invested in stocks, mutual funds, and got insurance for our protection.

Modesty aside, I just want you to be proud of me your student I already have a significant investment is stocks, mutual funds, and SDA. While my kids are already in a 6-digit investment in stocks. I owe this to you Sir J3 in two years time this how you influenced my life.

I hope you continue to be an inspiration to more Filipinos. I hope your desire and passion will even be greater.

Just a request in case you intend to publish my testimony. Please keep my privacy Sir just give a code name for me 🙂

A Solid Foundation

Hi J3,

My name is V. Manalac, 48 yrs old and working here in Dubai UAE for 16 years now. My first 10 years working abroad resulted to nothing in terms of savings or investments as I never made any concrete plans on my finances. I realized I wasted so much time by not planning and investing for my retirement. I researched the internet and found several self help books and videos but couldn't find something that we can really apply for us filipinos.

I was able to start investing in the Philippine Stock Market and your Game of Wealth seminar has guided me to be able to really have a strategy on my retirement plan. I now am able to regularly save and invest for my retirement.

Unfortunately, I lost my job 4 months back but the savings I have has helped me stay afloat and hoping to find a job soon. Without my savings, I wont be able to sustain my family's daily expenses. I know that God will provide me a job soon and Im looking forward to learning to invest in the international markets soon with your new program.

Just Getting Started...

Hi J3,

Firstly, about myself. My name is Fermin Maniti, Pampanga yung probinsya ko. Sa kasalukuyan nasa Ireland ako ngaun kasama ng pamilya ko. 40 yrs old na ako by Nov 14 this year.

It is an eye opener sa akin kung pano manalo sa game of wealth.

Hehe. Seriously speaking, I wish you more success in your life in all areas and I am considering you as one of my mentors. Cheers!

P1.3 Million In Debt to Freedom

First, I want to thank you for teaching me how to be financially literate and because of that I’m now experiencing the “Freedom” of not having massive amount of Debt. I am proud to say that I am debt free which is one of the reasons why I celebrated my 34th birthday treating my friends to a lovely dinner. (wouldn’t be possible if I didn’t get hold of your Online seminar).

One year ago was totally different situation… Me and my husband was heavily in debt. We were juggling  5 credit cards (all maxed up - amounting to P1.3M; roughly in todays currency exchange) and aside from that; we are paying car amortization P20k per month.

Although we can still manage because we earn good money overseas but still it is a huge burden. It continued to be like that for a couple of years… paying some of our hard earned money to credit cards, paying all the bills and whatever is left, we spend it to entertainment, shopping etc etc..

Then one day, I realised that its just a cycle, we earn, we spend it all… its like a conveyor belt; a rat race.. one step forward and two steps backwards… It get to a point that I get sick of it and I felt so tired working and very unmotivated.

Then I saw your you tube video about stock market and it opened my mind to new hopes and possibilities. It really changed MY LIFE - from someone who is not even aware that I have financial problem to someone that has now control of my money and my future.

I have to be honest that your online seminar was one of the best financial education I ever had. One of the best part also is you shared your library. I appreciate it very much because I also love reading books. I took your advise to read the books, and it made a huge difference in my life. I started reading books of Tony Robbins, Warren Buffet, Napoleon Hill, Kiyosaki, and whatever investments book I can grab (both about stocks and property investments) . Most of the times, I listed to Jim Rohn teachings, Tai Lopez, John Lee, Jim Rogers, Dan Pena and Dave Ramsay. I tried watching shows on investments such as Shark Tank and London Real:)

Thank you very much J3 for being so generous in sharing your knowledge. It’s amazing how a “stranger” like you becomes a part of “SOMETHING” in my life that I can be proud of.

- Anna A.

P.S. I work as an Accountant overseas (how funny that an Accountant doesn’t have that much “financial literacy”). My husband is an Auditor as well. Again, from me and my husband Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.

It Tied It All Together

Hi J3, I'm Jerome, 25 years old and working as an Engniner.

I have been reading a lot of financial books out there but the Game of Wealth Seminar tied up everything important into one comprehensive seminar series. I can describe it in 3S – It is a Synthesis, it is Systematic and Substantial.

First, no doubt it increased my financial literacy. The result is that I become more in control of my finances. I increased my savings and investment by decreasing unnecessary expenses like expensive weekend dine-outs, party-going, etc.

Next, it encouraged me to progress. For me, “Forward” is the keyword in our journey to financial freedom. The seminar highlighted that one financial mistake you make may put you into a status you do not want to be in, so it is just right to keep on moving forward.

And most of all, it brings back my passion in reading. I like the Reference Guide that is included in the seminar. I have been reading (your) J3’s recommended books. My favorite is the Success Principles. 🙂

As a final message, I want to say thank you for making things so easy to comprehend. Keep inspiring people! Thank you!

Akala Ko Scam

Happy Birthday J3!!!

I would like to tell you that when I subscribed to your movie I was hesitant at investing. I thought it will be another scam. Kasi sinabi mo game of wealth tapos parang akala ko it will be another product that needs to be bought then may recruitment.

Anyway long story short a lot of realizations came into me while watching the video kunwari yung having a pet would lead to more expenses. I was really shocked at hindi ganun ang mindset ko. Now, every time I buy a gadget or make a certain decision I always think of the future of the impact it does to me. For example how much ang repairs, how much ang renewals, etc. Every decision i make is now having an impact to my future which I think is very logical and practical.

I am very happy and contented na naka help yung video mo sa way of life namin as a family. I also told my friends and relatives regarding your video para naman hindi lang ako yung nag bebenefit.

In terms of savings and stocks I was able to ride double dragon at 7 pesos and still holding it right now. There are some losses like FNI but over all happy naman at gain ako sa stock market. I'm not that type of person who does long write ups but i am hoping that i was able to deliver my message to you.

It all begins with the mind...

I was a newly licensed physical therapist back in 2013. Back then, the most logical thing to do after passing the boards was to find a job. I got easily accepted in a private hospital in Manila. I love being a physical therapist. It's a fulfilling job especially when you can see your patients literally get back on their feet again.

But no matter how much I love being a physical therapist, just working in the hospital and being an employee cannot help me achieve financial freedom. I got interested in knowing what other ways you can grow your wealth. I started searching in the internet and encountered StockMarketforPinoys. I have become your fan since then. Believing in the value you give, I also subscribed to the Game of Wealth. I learned a lot. Especially when it comes to the mindset. Because well, everything starts first in the mind.

I have not yet achieved financial freedom. But I am happy to say that I am now in the stage of Independence. I have resigned in the hospital Im working at just this March and is now a freelance physical therapist. I earned more and I have more time. Im using my free time to learn more about different things.. real estate.. stocks.. our small family business. You have also inspired me to invest in the stock market. I invest in COLFINANCIAL and a member of TRC! I still have a lot to learn. And I still have to create another source of passive income. But what's important is that I'm aware of where I am now and I am learning. And it's all because of you J3! Thank you!

Hardwork is not enough

I'm Edwin, 40yrs Old currently employed as an IT Consultant and an newbie Entrepreneur.

YOLO Gastos

Happy beer-day J3 (hehehe). This is always the term we use onboard the ship when someone has birthday.

By the way, I'm March, and I'm just 1 year older than you. I'm an officer of the ship a 3rd Engineer officer not so high ranking but pursuing to reach the highest position onboard a vessel with the guidance of our Savior God.

J3, I just want to thank you for enhancing my financial literacy by the program you created. Actually since I started sailing on 2007 up to 2013 when I was still single that time, I can say I'm YOLO gastos dito, libre dun with no savings even going back to the ship with full of debt.

My family is sometimes disappointed because I cannot hand them even a portion of my money. Binata kasi, dami kaibigan, but mali pala yun. Later on when i was in the ship for already 3 months still paying for my debt during the vacation I realize and ask myself where did I spend the money which i'm paying now? I haven't any projects to fund nor investment. What will happen if i stop working or unable to work? Thats the reason i started waking up my mind and set a goal. I actually found you in google and youtube with the hints of my friend regarding stock market. But I didn't start right away on investing in stock market I invested first on real state and property.

J3, I learned a lot in your videos specially on how to manage the people around me yung tipo na kamag anak at kaibigan na bigla nalang sumusulpot. And how to say no sa mga humihiram na hindi na nag babayad because I'm a type of person na napakadali lang lapitan kung meron ako di talaga ako makatanggi.

With the knowledge i got from you I  also found how to balance my the needs and wants. Lately last two weeks ago I then decided to enter the stockmarket world and as you said I also start investing in knowledge. Hindi ko pa man nasunod lahat ng advices mo and still on the process of applying it I already learned a lot of things in regards to financial literacy and this is still not yet enough to gain the the ultimate financial freedom I can say I'm still at the beginning.

Sana marami ka pang matulungan tulad ko in regards to finacial literacy and on me sana marami pa akong makuhang mga ideas and advices galing sayo. Thank you sou much!

Below the Poverty Line

I came from a family that was below the poverty line. I took my elementary education in public school and luckily got a special tuition fee discount on a private School during my High School Education. My luck continues on my college being one of the recipient of scholarship programs.

I used to do trading during my elementary years. I trade fruits (like guava, santol) to my classmates in exchange of a number of pieces of paper since my parents sometimes were not able to buy a paper for me. Huh?! Praise God nalampasan naming magkakapatid yung sitwasyon na iyon.

After more than four years of working in my first company, I decided to work abroad in search for a greener pasture. I have been working in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and now in United Arab of Emirates. I don't really have any savings in my bank account. In fact, when I decided to work here in UAE, I still borrow money to my friend (working in Qatar) worth 110,000 pesos.

One day I got directed into your video about the Game of Wealth. Thank you very much.

Now, fast forward to the present, though I am still learning more about business and investments.

Maraming maraming THANK YOU for being my virtual mentor. I have learned so much from you and I will keep on learning from you! More Power J3! Again, Happy Birthday!

To God Be the Glory!

Whats Important is I Started

Hi Coach J3. I'm Clive Martin, currently 19 years of age and still a student.

Your Game of Wealth Online Seminar is an eye-opener not just to employees but also to students like me. What I loved about your course is how you present the lessons and topics in a clear and systematic manner. Also, your exercises is a really really great help!

With all the lessons that I've learned from your seminar, I have now started to invest in the stock market with my savings (yes!). As of today, my current portfolio is at P8,016.55. I know maliit pa lang but what's important is that I started. =)

On the Right Track

Hi, Sir J3. I was one of your student in the IE33 class. It's an honor again to be your student in this course.

Currently, I'm a full time student and taking up MS IE in UP. I'm lucky that a friend ask me to look at your videos on youtube. Then, I purchased your Game of Wealth seminar. Your videos are worth a lot of value! In fact, I have your videos on my Phone so I could keep on watching while waiting or travelling. :)) When someone asks me on what I'm watching, I simply tell them to look at your videos on youtube and encourage them to own the Game of Wealth seminar. :))

At first, I thought I've learned enough if I graduate college. I've read several self-help books. I thought I knew what it takes to be successful in life. Then, your Game of Wealth seminar made me realize that there are a lot more to learn about Personal Finance. I mistakenly though that money is not that important when it is compared with love, God or friendship. In fact, personal finance is a serious issue since money is always part of everyone's life. And it's about creating value to others, not on the tangible Money itself.  The seminar changed my mindset especially when it comes to money.

I love your Resource guide so I could further my understanding on some specific aspects.Super thank you! Your seminar pushed me to save a lot and be mindful in every social interactions.

I managed to save a total of 3-month emergency fund worth of 50,000php in my savings account. As of now, I only have a long-term healthcare plan and I have 15k worth of investment in COL. I know it's still far for me to achieve the Stage of Freedom. It'll be a long fun journey!

Almost There!

I am Atty. Bareng, 31 years old, lawyer and a resident of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

I subscribed to the game of wealth online seminar sometime in March 2015. And this is the best seminar on financial literacy that I have ever witnessed. I just love every topic and find it very informative. It is a complete and very comprehensive seminar on financial literacy.

I learned not only how to get out of debt but also how to effectively save and increase active and passive income through the different investment mechanisms. I have learned how to invest in the Philippine Stock Market and real estate and started my online business. I even wished that this online seminar has an affiliate program so that I can even promote it to Filipinos who have desires to achieve financial abundance. I keep on watching all the videos because of all the useful information that you provided in each topic.

Before I enrolled to this online seminar, I didn’t know the importance of preparing for the future. I was spending all my salaries without savings and investments. The reason for this was that I didn’t know how to invest and I was not familiar with the different investments.

But today, I have tremendously increased my assets. I always make it a point that I have savings every month and continue to invest in equities. I am nearing to reach my first one million pesos and I hope that I will achieve this goal before the end of this year.

I have shared this online seminar to my family already and I am very happy that they have also learned all the important topics regarding financial literacy. Thank you so much sir J3 for creating such a very helpful online seminar for Filipinos. This product has made a difference to the lives of our fellow Filipinos. I will always continue to support you and all your undertakings! Thank you!

- Atty. J. Bareng

Dati Mabilis Kaming Ma-Enganyo

Happy happy birthday! 🙂 I would like to thank you for all the knowledge that you have imparted us.

Pero now we make sure that before we decide on something it will really fit our current and future cashflow. Though hindi pa ganun kalaki but I am pretty sure we are heading on the right track.

Full of Wisdom 🙂

I am Julia R., 66 y/o and having two more months before I retire from the health care profession. Being a clinician for more than 30 years, I am debt free. But I always had in mind that someday I will be leaving the work force and the bosses. So I thought of doing something for  myself in preparation for another chapter. I started making time to study investing by listening to Wall Street Week. I also joined the AAII, (American Association of Individual Investors) and was a member for many years.

Before I learned about J3, I was already investing in individual stocks. I left mutual fund investing 15 years ago but I started  with it first because I want to learn more about investing and at that time I feel that's the best place to put my hard earned money.

To make the story short, I met J3 by scouring the internet on Filipinos who are interested to make their money work for them. I joined his Pinoy Money Academy and attended his seminar online on stock investing. I found him to be a very excellent mentor for neophytes or beginners. He is very direct to the point with his examples. So concrete that you can understand it and you can go back to it again and again to enjoy the lessons and not forget the principles and strategies. He is very patient and generous with teaching. He is the kind of communicator who knows the what, why, how and where to take the novice in the investment world. So young at 28, but full of wisdom.

Soon to be retired comfortably 🙂

My Daughter Said She'll Be An Inventor!

My parents named me Ligaya and in a month I’ll be turning 42.

Pretty much, I know I am a late bloomer when it comes to investment as supposedly with my age, I should be looking forward on my retirement. However, till this day, I could say I am still very blessed that I am able to work as an Executive Administrative Assistant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Noon pa man, I was already very interested and of course dreamt to be “Financially Free” or magkaroon ng tinatawag na “Financial Freedom”. 10 years back, I tried to join a cooperative na nagtuturo ng Financial Freedom na yan, because the way it was explained to me ay beneficial naman, so I got hooked up; however after joining, actually di tumubo ang pera ko that was with them for 3 years and when I backed out nabawasan pa.

But then, I didn’t stop searching, I even attended seminars about money management, though it teaches you how to manage your hard earned money, it does not teach you how to earn or gain more. Isa din ako sa mga naka deposit lang ang pera sa bank at na lo lock out pa dahil 2 years na naiwan because I was out of the country.

Then I found you Mr. J3 Patino… among all other videos that I watched, I find yours the smartest one, so simple that the common tao like me can comprehend, as a teacher myself, your ways are very good cause you are able to reach your very audience, the way you unlock difficulties is very relevant and of course your modulated voice that’s pleasant to listen with (my husband thought you’re a girl when he heard you voice).

I enrolled in the Game of Wealth. The video training had been done so “suave” dahil from that video I realized that the very first thing to do if you want to be financially free is, you have to identify what stage are you, and that you have to start from there….After listening and finding out which stage I am, I am currently working on to the next stage. The seminar is so inspiring that I myself have already made my tangible plans and goals (posted in my office and reading and reviewing always).

Right now, I am still identifying my “business sweet spots” to be able to start another source of income. Sa ngayon I had started one (will share it later). We have as well finished all the seasons of “Shark Tank” show (as you recommended) and my husband got crazy watching it and my daughter is trying to create some ideas that she said she’ll invent – she is just 8 yrs  old!

Like your parents, I may not know them (except from your stories) I want to be like them, to be of service to others but at the same time, be able to support our needs when we reached to that golden age he he he… Funny cause I have authored already my own Financial goal and have presented it to my husband. Initially my husband thought what’s happening with me, of course he does not understand it at first, however, eventually dahil parati nyang naririnig sa akin, he is getting into it na din.

I will keep you posted on some of my updates, medyo newbie pa lang talaga ako, and some of my stories are still in the making. J3, please don’t get tired on sharing your information with us! And I believe, all of what you have partaken to us has been done passionately.

Happy Birthday, I wish you good health, happiness and self-fulfillment not only on your birthday but in many more years to come. May God bless you more with wisdom, intellect and a generous heart!

10 Things That Have Changed

I am Ruel, 47 years old and I am a Mechanical Engineer. I have been working for more than 25 years now, the last 10 years abroad. I was getting good income since I went abroad but I lack the proper financial education then, so I was not able to seek financial freedom,

Since I was introduced to your website, GameOfWealthOnline.com, by a friend, lots of changes happened in my life, especially to my mindset. I now have a Millionaire mind! I became more focused in building wealth and working my way towards financial freedom.

Here are the significant changes in my life:

  1. Our family motto now is "SAVE AND INVEST!"
  2. We are seriously monitoring our Cash Flow.
  3. We opened bank accounts for our children and taught them to save money.
  4. We already have a mutual fund, emergency fund and life insurance.
  5. We have purchased a 1,000 square meter residential lot.
  6. I have built 3 websites to augment my salary with passive income.
  7. I am currently learning FOREX trading online for additional income.
  8. We will go into foodcart franchise next year once we save enough capital.
  9. We are planning to get a loan using our lot as collateral and buy an apartment.
  10. We will open an account in COL Financial this December.

Lots of changes to mention but number one is the mindset transformation.
It is where every change started.

Thank you so much J3 for showing us the way!

A Simple Lifestyle By Choice

Hi J3! First a happy, happy  birthday to you. May God bless you by granting all your wishes and prayers for yourself and your family.

I’m Lady Marquez, 42, y0.  My whole family is presently based in Riyadh.  My son and I are sponsored by my husband’s company. And I work as freelance English tutor of Saudi children.

When I joined the Game of Wealth, we were in the stage of eliminating our credit debts. Wala pa kaming life insurances that time. Although I started already investing in stock market 3 years ago, but I couldn’t consider my family secured yet dahil I knew it was not enough especially may binabayaran pa kamin utang. At the same time, hindi regular yung investment namin. I knew marami pang kulang.

That’s why after gaining helpful information from Game of Wealth Seminar, many things have changed in my family.

  1. We learn what to prioritize and what are the real important things that matter in life.
  2. We give more importance (spending more) in things that will improve our skills and eventually help increase our earnings.
  3. Having a simple lifestyle has become a choice.
  4. Helped me discern good and accurate financial information in the internet. I learned not to overload myself with unnecessary information especially from unreliable people.
  5. We appreciate the real essence of having more than enough amount of money.
  6. We realized the importance of preparing for our retirement and depending on our child is not an option.
  7. We became debt-free and we choose to stay this way for the rest of our lives.
  8. My husband and I set our minds to the advantages of having own business to achieve financial freedom. In fact we continue learning new ideas and improving our skills, hoping that one day we will have our own business when we go back home for good.

Last month, I made my husband his business website. He studies photography here.  Slowly, I’m helping him establish his part-time career as a photographer and hopefully we can put up a studio when we go home.

I consider you as one of my mentors who significantly helped me improved my family’s financial status.  You're indeed God's instrument in helping people to be financially educated.... the right way. God bless you and your family.
